Privacy policy

What we collect
Information you provide. When you join our newsletter, sign up for the cat-formula waitlist, or submit a demand-validation order, we collect information such as your email address, name, shipping address, and any details you choose to share.
Usage and device information. We collect a random visitor identifier stored in your browser (localStorage), page views, clicks, and how you interact with the site. This helps us understand which pages and features are useful.
Attribution data. If you arrive via a marketing link, we may store UTM parameters and the referring site so we can measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. This data is tied to your anonymous visitor ID unless you later provide an email address.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process and fulfill your orders, and communicate with you about your order.
- Send occasional product updates, research, and offers when you opt in.
- Improve the site experience, diagnose issues, and measure marketing performance.
- Prevent fraud and protect the security of our site and customers.
How we store and protect data
Our application is hosted on Lovable Cloud, which uses Supabase for data storage and authentication. We rely on Lovable Cloud’s platform security, encrypted connections, and access controls to protect your information. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers. We store a single anonymous visitor ID in your browser’s localStorage so we can associate multiple sessions with the same browser. You can clear this at any time through your browser settings.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email. You may also email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above, or as required by law. Order and payment records may be retained longer for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
Children’s privacy
Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will remove it.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the effective date below. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
